Bluegill

What a great day we had out on Oologah Lake! As a guide with Slabbin Mike's Crappie Fishing and Guide Service, I always look forward to this time of year. March is prime crappie season on this lake, and the conditions couldn't have been better for today's Oologah Lake Fishing Guides | 6 Hour Charter Trip. We met up at the Spencer Creek Campground right at 8 AM, and Jim was ready to get out on the water and start catching some fish.

We headed out onto the lake and started working some of my best spots, focusing on jigging and trolling with light tackle. It didn't take long before Jim's rod started bending—he had hooked into a nice white crappie! We kept the pressure on and got it in the boat. Over the next few hours, we kept steady action, with Jim reeling in a mix of crappie and bluegill. The fish were really feeding well, and we had a blast working the lake. I shared some of my top tips and techniques, and Jim was a quick learner, putting them to good use.

Between the bites, we got to take in the scenery of Oologah Lake. Even with some clouds rolling in, the day stayed pleasant, and the water stayed calm and clear. It's always such a peaceful experience, being out on the water like this. And with the impressive fish Jim was catching, he was all smiles the whole time. We ended up with a great haul, and I know he's going to be showing those crappie and bluegill off to his friends back home.

If you're looking to level up your crappie and white bass fishing skills, I can't recommend the Oologah Lake Fishing Guides | 6 Hour Charter Trip enough. This lake is teeming with fish, and as your guide, I'll make sure you have an educational yet super fun time out on the water. Whether you're an experienced angler or just getting started, we'll make sure you have the techniques and tips to put more fish in the boat. Book your trip today, and let's
